The Local Organizing Committee is pleased to invite you to the Scientific and Business Meeting of the EBMWG, which will be held in Plaka, Athens, from the 14th to the 16th of September 2017. Plaka, one of the oldest, most historic and most picturesque neighbourhoods in Athens, also known as the ‘‘Neighbourhood of the Gods’’, is considered the residential area of ancient Athens and is located on the northeastern foothills of the Acropolis. This is a place bustling with many archaeological monuments and museums, where the past and the present meet.
The meeting venue is within walking distance (a 5 to 10 minute walk) from most museums and archaeological areas as well as from Syntagma metro station and the shopping area around it.
We look forward to seeing you and we hope that your stay in Athens will be the most pleasant and enjoyable one.
